Beginners and up

We offer comprehensive chess programs to fit your school’s extended learning schedule. Each class typically lasts one hour and is divided into one 30 minute session of instruction and 30 minutes of practice and play. Contact us to set up a club before, during, or after school hours.

*Tournament Class

Following regularly scheduled club lessons, a special 45 minute lesson is available for serious players wanting to compete in local tournaments. These lessons will be more challenging and offer more personalized chess tutelage. Members of the Tournament Team will receive a team shirt and be given information regarding upcoming tournaments.

Game Think Chess Camps are intended for beginners to intermediate strength players from 1st to 8th Grade.  Each camp will have either a morning session OR an afternoon session depending on location; not both.  Campers will participate in camp everyday, Monday- Friday.  Our camps are built to be EDUCATIONAL and FUN!!!  Each class is taught by experienced, professional, chess instructors; who believe Chess is a game that EVERYONE can benefit from! Many of our school chess programs have computer time, where each student has their own ChessKid account and has unlimited access to all of ChessKid.com‘s excellent learning material. Feel free to send us a challenge at, user name, “CoachDavid”, or to join our online chess club, “Game Think Kids”!

Students will learn the basics of Video Game programming, including character movement, shooting, reactionary code, multiple levels, music, sound effects and boss fights, and MORE!
