He would come home and say, “I really like that chess teacher.” When we purchased additional private lessons from Mr. Horn because of our son’s interest, our son would run to the lesson and look forward to it all day. Mr. Horn kept him interested, and made sure he had fun, while he still taught him quiet a bit. The summer after first grade, our son spent time at the Marshall Chess Club for chess camp in New York City. They told us at the club that having just started playing nine months ago, whoever taught him and worked with him, did an absolutely great job. We cannot recommend Mr. Horn enough.”
